About The Project

This project showcases CCC’s ability to complete work in an active medical environment with minimal operational interruptions. The installation of the MRI magnet occurred over a short window of time and required coordination of the hospital staff and operations. The path of the magnet from the exterior of the building to its final location passed through operational space and the structure of the building needed additional support to carry the weight of the magnet’s transition.

Our team spent months planning and coordinating with hospital administrators to identify what areas needed to be vacated, the duration of the activities, and what materials needed to be removed from the space in order for it to work. The project finished on time, within budget, and used several local minority partners.
